Berea police search for 2 suspects accused of brutally assaulting woman at gas station

The pair allegedly dragged the victim from her vehicle, punched her in the face, hit her in the head with a bottle, then threw hot coffee in her face before fleeing.

BEREA, Ohio — Police are currently searching for two female suspects accused of brutally assaulting a 42-year-old woman at a Berea gas station earlier this week.

According to officials, the victim was inside her car at the Speedway on North Rocky River Drive when the perpetrators dragged her from the vehicle, punched her in the face, hit her in the head with a water bottle, then threw hot coffee in her face. The pair then ran away down the street, southbound.

The suspects have not yet been identified, but authorities released surveillance photos of them appearing to be in the gas station convenience store. They were also reported to have been seen in the area around The Mall and North Rocky River Drive.
