Canton police investigating fatal shooting, asking citizens for leads

CANTON, Ohio — Police in Canton are investigating the fatal shooting of a 57-year-old man that took place on Wednesday.

According to police records authorities were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Diana Place early Wednesday afternoon. Once on scene, first responders found 57-year-old Otis Keller laying on the bedroom floor.

Sources tell 3News, Keller had received multiple gunshot wounds and was found unresponsive.

The Stark County Coroner's Office was called to the scene and declared Keller deceased.

Canton police detectives are now asking anyone with information or any camera footage regarding the shooting to call them at 330-489-3144.
