CANTON, Ohio — Canton Police detectives and the Stark County Prosecutor's Office obtained an arrest warrant for a second suspect involved in a double homicide that took place on March 28, 2022.
The warrant was issued for a 17-year-old living in Cleveland. He has been charged with 2 counts of Complicity to Commit Murder, 2 counts of Complicity to commit Felonious Assault, 1 count of Complicity to commit Aggravated Burglary, and 1 count of Complicity to commit Aggravated Robbery. All charges containing Gun Specifications.
The 17-year-old is currently incarcerated in a Cleveland jail on an unrelated crime.
The incident related to these charges took place on the 3500 block of Ellis Avenue N.E. Officers arrived to the scene locating two unresponsive victims in an apartment.
The victims were identified as 19-year-old William Harvey of Canton and 19-year-old Jermiah Burton of Canton.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner's office from apparent gunshot wounds.
A 16-year-old was arrested in relation to the crime.
