It was around 1:42 a.m. Sunday when officers with the Jackson Township Police Department said they responded to reports of a “large fight” at Christie’s Cabaret in the 4400 block of Everhard Road NW in Stark County.
“Upon arrival, officers learned that an unidentified suspect fired multiple shots into the ceiling while inside the establishment,” according to a press release that was issued Monday from the Jackson Township Police Department.
Police say there aren’t any known victims who were hurt by the gunfire inside the bar, but an investigation is underway after authorities later learned a gunshot victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center by a friend.
“This incident is being investigated as an ongoing dispute that started at Christie’s Cabaret and the location of the shooting has yet to be determined,” police added.
