CLEVELAND — Homicide detectives from the Cleveland Division of Police are investigating the case of a man who was shot in the head last year, but died last week.

On January 23, 2019, officers responded to the 1800 block of Colonnade Road for a male shot and laying at the bottom of the stairs leading to his apartment.

The victim, later identified as Romell Langford, was found by neighbors. He was taken to University Hospitals Clevelamd Medical Center by EMS where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to his head.

Upon being released, Langford was in the care of his mother.
