CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating after a man was stabbed Monday evening in the city's Midtown neighborhood.
Officials tell 3News the incident happened at approximately 11 p.m. in the 3800 block of Prospect Avenue.
"Upon arrival, officers reported a 26-year-old male was a victim of stab wounds," police noted in its release. "It appears to be an attempted robbery and as a result the victim was assaulted by multiple males."
The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital. His condition has not been revealed.
Cleveland police did not provide any information about the suspects.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
