CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are investigating a homicide near East 102nd St. and Parkview Ave. from overnight.
Officers responded shortly before midnight Tuesday night, when they found the victim, a 32-year-old man, lying in a tree lawn of a Parkview Ave. home. Suffering a gunshot wound to the chest, paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.
Police found a gun near the victim's body. Homicide investigators also learned officers had received a call for gunshots earlier that night, near the intersection of East 102nd St. and Manor Ave., just two blocks south from where the victim was found.
