The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public's help to identify and locate two persons of interest connected to a recent homicide in Cleveland.
According to police, on August 22 around 11:20 p.m., officers were called to Lucky's Beverage on Cleveland's east side for reports of a male who was assualted.
Upon arrival, the victim was found and transported to University Hospitals where he was being treated until he died on Thursday, September 2.
An investigation revealed that the 62-year-old victim had been arguing with an unidentified female inside of Lucky's when the woman began to throw bottles at the man. At that time, an unidentified man walked into the store and punched the victim until he fell to the floor, unconscious. The man and woman then fled the store.
Police tell 3News that the 62-year-old man was a disabled military veteran.
Anyone with information relative to the identity of these individuals is asked to contact detectives at (216) 623-5464.
Crimestoppers is currently offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for anyone who provides information that will help the case. Tips can be sent in by calling (216) 25-CRIME.
The matter remains under investigation.
