CASE HISTORY
The Cleveland Division of Police say 32-year-old Tyrone Hipps Jr. was murdered at around 8 p.m. on Jan. 27 at the Sunoco in the 3300 block of East 93rd Street.
Investigators believe several suspects met with Hipps in order to conduct a deal. During the encounter, police say the suspects shot Hipps, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Feb. 7, police issued a release stating that they were seeking to capture three suspects for Hipps' murder.
"In an effort to bring justice to the victim and closure to their family, the Cleveland Division of Police's homicide unit is urging anyone with information regarding this incident or anyone that can identify these individuals to come forward," wrote Cleveland Division of Police Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz in the release. "Any details, regardless of how small they may seem, could be crucial in identifying and apprehending the suspects."
3News reached out to Diaz to check the status of the investigation into the other suspects in the case. We will post any updates in this story.
