CLEVELAND — A Cuyahoga County grand jury has delivered a 20-count indictment charging Jesse Melton for the 2012 murder of three people at a Cleveland auto body shop.

An investigation conducted by the Homicide Review Task Force led to the indictment. The task force is composed of members of the Cleveland Police Department's homicide unit, FBI, and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.

On the morning of August 3, 2012, the owner of Imperial Auto Body Shop at 18301 St. Clair Avenue found the front door open and three victims lying on the floor with gunshot wounds to the head. The victims were identified as Brian Yuravak, 50, Lori Sarli, 48, and Babette Hockenberry, 53.

Melton is currently in federal custody awaiting trial on gun charges. Following that trial, he will be arraigned in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on the indicted charges.
