The CVS Pharmacy located at 9040 Mentor Ave was robbed around 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.
According to Mentor police, a suspect showed the cashier a note demanding money from the register. He then fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a "white male, 6'00” and medium build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the word 'staff' on the front." He left the store in a light colored 1980s full-size Cadillac sedan and was pursued into Euclid by a neighboring law enforcement agency, but the pursuit was stopped because of the suspect's reckless driving.
An investigation is ongoing.
