GENEVA, Ohio — Police are investigating after one person was killed in a Sunday afternoon shooting in Geneva.
It was around 5:36 p.m. when the Geneva Police Department received a call regarding an altercation at the intersection of East Tibbitts and Sherman streets.
“During the altercation, a single gunshot was fired,” Geneva police said.
When authorities arrived on the scene, a dead male was located just west of the intersection.
“Police are investigating this incident and gathering all available evidence,” Geneva police said. “Names of parties involved will not be released at this time.”
