The incident happened on July 2 at approximately 2 p.m. at the I-480 and US 271 north split. Solon officers saw a Jeep SUV with no taillights swerving on the highway. After stopping the vehicle, officers requested officers from Warrensville Hts to the scene to investigate a suspected OVI.

The woman, who was identified as Ishonna N. Pratcher, 26, was transported to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries. The children, a one-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, were also taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
