EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — Detectives with the East Cleveland Police Department are investigating after an accident involving an EMS vehicle.
According to East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner, the incident began early Saturday morning when East Cleveland EMS were responding to a fire call near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Superior Avenue.
While responding to the call, the EMS vehicle was stuck by an automobile. The driver of the second vehicle was treated for her injuries at the scene and released. The woman, whose name has not been made public by police, was issued a citation for the incident.
At this time, investigators are searching for any video from the intersection at the time of the accident.
