Elyria residence struck by multiple bullets, dog injured

No people were hurt and dog treated for injuries

ELYRIA, Ohio — Early Thursday morning, Elyria police were called to the 100 block of Oak Street for a report of gunshots. When police arrived, they found a residence in the area had been struck by multiple rounds of bullets.

Police say they talked to the residents and learned that no one was injured. A dog inside the residence was hurt as a result of the shooting and received treatment for its injury.

Elyria police detectives are investigating and ask that anyone with information regarding this incident to please call Elyria Police at 440-326-1213. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting TIPELYRIA and your tip to 847411.
