FAIRLAWN, Ohio — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in Fairlawn on Sunday afternoon.

The Fairlawn Police Department said it received multiple calls at 1:43 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 100 block of Buffington Road. Upon arriving, officers found a 25-year-old man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
While CPR was performed, the victim ultimately died on the scene.
According to police, witnesses reported two male suspects fleeing the scene in a white mid-sized vehicle. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Fairlawn Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-670-4309.
