The FBI is asking for the public's help finding an armed robbery suspect who was "mistakenly released" from a Northwest Ohio jail Wednesday night.
The bureau says Don Ellis Jr. was being held in the Lucas County Jail on charges of robbing a Fifth Third Bank in Toledo earlier this week. Around 10:27 last night, however, Lucas was accidentally released from holding after he changed his name/identification to "Antwon Moore." The county sheriff tells WKYC the incident "shouldn't have happened, but it did."
Ellis was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, light blue jean shorts to the knees, and white tennis shoes with dark laces. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911. Reward money is available.
