CLEVELAND — The FBI Cleveland Division is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who has robbed multiple banks in the Akron/Canton area.
Officials say it's believe the suspect pictured below is connected to three bank robberies that have occurred since June 25 in the Northeast Ohio area.
Here is a timeline of when the robberies took place:
Saturday, June 25
A bank robbery happened at Chase Bank in Akron off South Arlington Street at 9:55 a.m. The unknown suspect was described as a 6-foot-2-inch male with a slender build wearing a black Puma Jacket, surgical mask and a hat with an unknown design.
Tuesday, July 19
At 4:27 p.m., a bank robbery happened on 30th Street Northwest in Canton. The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall thin man wearing a blank jumpsuit with white stripes and a baseball cap.
Thursday, July 21
The most recent bank robbery happened on Dressler Road Northwest in Canton at 3:32 p.m. The suspect in this robbery was also described as a 6-foot-tall male with a slender build wearing a black sweatshirt with white stripes, jeans, white shoes and a baseball cap.
An investigation is currently underway.
