Fugitive of the week: Police looking for man wanted for Lorain murder

LORAIN, Ohio — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Israel Dominguez II.

Officials say Dominguez is wanted for murder by the Lorain Police Department. On Aug. 7 near the 1800 block of Garden Avenue, 56-year-old Edward J. Suggs was shot and killed by a stray bullet allegedly fired by Dominguez.

Suggs was sitting on his front porch when he was shot after a fight between Dominguez and others apparently broke out across the street. The 20-year-old Dominguez last lived near the 2200 block of Washington Avenue in Lorain.

Police say Dominguez is to be considered armed and dangerous.
