A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the capture of Briggs' killer.
Additionally, Briggs' mother tearfully discussed her son's mother and also pleaded for answers regarding the suspects.
"It's just unfortunate. I miss my baby so much," Briggs' mother, Monica Briggs, said. "Somebody knows something. Somebody knows something.
"If you know. Please, please, please, please say something. I just want justice for my son. This hurts so bad. I wouldn't put this on anybody."
According to authorities, Briggs was fatally shot while working a security detail outside the Showcase Bar & Grille in Garfield Heights during the early morning hours of Sept. 26. The bar had become overcrowded, and when a group of men jumped a fence in an attempt to get inside, Briggs was shot during a fight while trying to stop them. He later died at MetroHealth Medical Center.
