AKRON, Ohio — A Summit County grand jury has indicted a Stow man who is accused of stabbing and killing his niece earlier this month.
John Lorkowski, 46, faces murder charges after allegedly taking the life of 32-year-old Sharee Hutch late on the night of Nov. 6. Police said Hutch's body was found with "numerous stab wounds" inside a house on Baird Road.
Law enforcement body camera footage showed officers arresting Lorkowski outside the home, and in the video he can be heard saying, "Oh my God, what have I done?" He was later treated at Cleveland Clinic Akron General hospital for cuts on his hand.
As of Thursday, Lorkowski remains in the Summit County Jail on a $500,000 bond. A date for his arraignment has not been set.
