In body camera footage, which can be watched in the media player at the top of this story, Cleveland Browns' cornerback Greg Newsome is seen making a police report regarding his stolen vehicle.

When asked what had happened, Newsome told police the following:

"Well, I actually didn't see it, my other teammate I was with, Perrion Winfrey, was going outside to go to my car. I met him outside after, and he told me they took everything from him, his chains and they took my vehicle as well. I was inside at the time when it happened."

Newsome said he was inside Filter Bar and Lounge at 740 W. Superior Ave. in downtown Cleveland when Browns' defensive tackle Winfrey went out to his car.

Police reports previously obtained by 3News say that Newsome had reported his 2022 Ram TRK in the lot next to Filter Bar and Lounge at 2:15 a.m. on Monday, June 5.

At 3:30 a.m., one of the victims went into the parking lot to go to the vehicle when six masked men allegedly jumped out of an unknown vehicle, robbing the victims at gunpoint.

The robbery came less than a day after Cleveland running back/wide receiver Demetric Felton reported having his 2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat stolen out of the parking garage of The May, located at 200 Euclid Avenue. According to a police report, Felton's vehicle was one of two stolen during the incident, which occurred at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 4.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski previously addressed the robberies during mandatory minicamp in Berea.

"I'm glad our guys are OK," Stefanski told reporters. "I want all of our community to be safe. The Cleveland Police have been outstanding. We want everybody to be safe and we want to get violent people off of our streets."
