Ashland — The jury in the trial of accused serial killer Shawn Grate came back Monday evening with guilty verdicts on all charges.
He was found guilty of on multiple counts of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the deaths of Elizabeth Griffith and Stacey Stanley (Hicks). You can watch the verdicts being handed down in the player below:
Sentencing will begin Friday, May 18 at 9 a.m.
Earlier on Monday, Prosecutor Chris Tunnell opened closing arguments by detailing the remaining charges left for the jury to decide Grate's innocence or guilt.
After more than a week into the trial, Grate pleaded guilty to 15 charges, including rape, kidnapping, gross abuse of a corpse and burglary.
There are eight remaining charges, including aggravated murder in the deaths of Elizabeth Griffith and Stacey Stanley (Hicks).

The prosecution’s closing arguments took the jury back to the beginning, showing just several of the more than 300 exhibits entered into evidence, including a pair of dates written in a notebook.
"Everything the defendant does is premeditated," Tunnell said.
The prosecution said there was prior calculation to the murders.
Defense attorney Robert Whitney delivered closing arguments asking the jury to take a closer look at prior calculation and said Grate freely gave out information to detectives, but noted Grate’s future.
"My co-counsel, myself and Shawn know fully well that he will not walk out of this courtroom a free man," Whitney said.
Last week, Grate pled guilty to 15 charges, including rape, kidnapping and gross abuse of a corpse.
The jury will be looking at the aggravated murder charges against Shawn Grate. As the jury deliberates, they will be sequestered until a verdict is reached.
Grate was also charged with kidnapping and raping a third woman, identified as Jane Doe, who called 911 on Sept. 13, 2016 and escaped the Covert Ct. home where the bodies of Griffith and Stanley were found.
