MACEDONIA, Ohio — Local and federal authorities are asking for the public's help finding the man who robbed the Macedonia Commons Key Bank Saturday morning.
The FBI says the suspect entered the bank on East Aurora Road around 9:34 a.m. and demanded $50 and $100 bills while slamming his hands on the counter. The teller complied with his demands and gave him an unknown amount of money before he fled the scene, possibly in a blue Honda Accord.
The suspect was described as being around 5-foot-9 and weighing about 220 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a black knit hat, a black Gator neck cover, black gloves, and tan boots at the time of the incident. Witnesses did not see any type of weapon on him.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or whereabouts is asked to immediately call either the Macedonia Police Department at (330) 468-1234 or the Cleveland Division of the FBI at (216) 522-1400.
