CLEVELAND — A 20-year-old man is facing charges connected to a deadly crash that claimed the life of a 39-year-old woman.
Cleveland police announced Tuesday that Robert Artis has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicle assault for the May 2 crash.
The incident involved a Chevy Cruz that was struck by a Cadillac DTS traveling west on Kinsman “at a high rate of speed.”
The driver of the Cadillac fled the scene, police said.
The Chevy’s driver and front seat passenger were both unharmed. Three people in the back of the vehicle, however, did sustain injuries:
- 39-year-old woman died from her injuries.
- 5-year-old girl seriously hurt.
- 7-year-old girl seriously hurt.
No additional details were immediately available.
