LAKEMORE, Ohio — A 63-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon following an argument with his roommate in Lakemore.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says the incident happened shortly before 4 p.m. when the man and his roommate got into a verbal altercation in the 2500 block of South Street.
“The victim and roommate went outside the residence where the altercation continued and gunshots were fired,” officials with the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office said in a press release.
The victim was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene at 4:08 p.m.
His name is not being released at this time pending notification of family.
Authorities did not provide any information about the suspect.
