CLEVELAND — Detectives with the Cleveland Division of Police are investigating today after a 56-year-old man was found dead with a slashed throat Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials, officers responded to the 2300 block of East 30th Street in Cleveland around 2:26 p.m. on November 10 in connection to a call about a dead body.
Upon arrival, police spoke with a witness who had come across the body of the man whose throat was cut. The man was pronounced deceased by medical officials and his body was taken by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Cleveland police's Homicide Unit was also called to the scene late Wednesday afternoon.
The incident remains under investigation by officials.
