MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly cashed counterfeit checks at several bank locations in and around the city in early 2024.
Police say the man went to several Park National Bank locations in and around Mansfield where he presented checks to tellers and asked to have them cashed. The suspect received cash from each of the bank locations he went to on that day.
Mansfield detectives have asked anyone who recognizes the man (pictured below) to contact Mansfield Police Major Crimes Detective Larry Schacherer at (419) 755-9766.
