CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man near a Cleveland night club Friday.
Officials responded to Lotus Lounge, located in the 1500 block of Merwin Avenue, for reports of man shot. At the scene, the victim was found on the ground suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim, suffering a gunshot wound to the arm, was also taken to MetroHealth in a private vehicle. "
According to police, the two victims were inside the club drinking with friends. When they exited, reportedly, a dark SUV drove by, firing shots an striking both victims.
At the hospital, a large crowd gathered and one man was arrested for "misconduct at an emergency.
Police have not released any additional information on suspects or a possible motive, no arrests have been made at this time.
