ORRVILLE -- Investigators say Emily Young, a 24-year-old mother, was shot multiple times at close range while inside a vehicle. Her twin girls, approximately 6-months-old, were sitting in the back seat.
The suspected killer is her 22-year-old husband, who police say was identified by eyewitnesses as LaReece KeSean "Wally" Woods. Police say he is the father of the babies who were inside the vehicle.
It happened in a Kia along the 100 block of East Paradise Street at 6:53 p.m. Thursday as the couple was talking.
Young died at a local hospital.
Police say there was a 17-year-old also present in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Police say Woods confessed to the crime and provided information that led authorities to the alleged gun used in the shooting.
Woods is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail.
