The Parma Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a woman believed to be a person of interest in a shooting that took place on Thursday.
Police have not released a description of the unknown woman, nor have they released any information on how she may be related to the case.
Around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday evening, officials responded to the 5900 block of Westlake Avenue for reports of a man shot. At the scene, police found 63-year-old John Fabrizi suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the leg.
First aid was provided to Fabrizi until the Parma Fire Department arrived and was able to stablize him before transporting him to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
The suspect, later identified as 47-year-old Troy Sharp, fled the scene prior to officers arriving. Around 10:30 p.m., Sharp was arrested by the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the 300 block of Runn St. in Berea.
Sharp has been charged with felonious assault and is being held at the Parma Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Parma Municipal Court on Monday, April 5 at 11 a.m.
