WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Warrensville Heights Police Department has announced the capture of a person of interest wanted in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month.
Police and members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended Carlton Heard on Cleveland's west side in the early morning hours on Friday. Heard was identified as a person of interest in the fatal shooting of Marcelous Tell at Floods Urban Seafood Lounge on Northfield Road.
According to Warrensville Heights Police Chief Wesley Haynes, Tell was shot by an unknown man at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 2.
