CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — On Sunday morning, police responded to a shooting outside of the Severance Town Center off of Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights.
According to officials within the Cleveland Heights Police Department, at least one person was shot Sunday morning outside of the OfficeMax in the shopping center around 11:48 a.m.
Police tell 3News that two men had planned to meet up at that location when a physical altercation broke out inside of a vehicle. One of the men then allegedly shot the other inside of the car.
Officials say that the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in unknown condition at this time.
No one else was injured during the incident.
The matter remains under investigation by police officials.
