AKRON, Ohio — At least two glass doors were left shattered with multiple bullet holes inside the building after Akron police say shots were fired early Saturday morning inside Gatsby’s Pub in the 2500 block of Romig Road.
Officers were called to the scene around 2 a.m., but police say the suspects had already fled the area.
“According to employees, members of their security asked two women to leave before the incident,” police said in a press release Monday morning. “Moments later, the women returned with two unknown males who reportedly began indiscriminately firing guns inside, and later outside, the nightclub.”
Police say shell casings and “other evidence” were also collected at the scene.
Although there were numerous patrons inside at the time of the shooting, police say no injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
