ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a pick-up truck and buggy on Thursday.
A black Ford Ranger was traveling west on County Road 500 when it struck a buggy after losing control just after 4:30 p.m.
The buggy was carrying seven children at the time of the crash. Six of the kids were transported to University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Jonathan Zellner of Nova, and his minor passenger were not injured in the crash.
A horse was also injured in the crash and later had to be euthanized.
