SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — South Euclid Police were called to 4065 Wyncote Road at 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning for a domestic disturbance.
When police arrived, they found a woman and her three children inside the home. The woman told police that her ex-boyfriend entered the home and assaulted her.
Police safely removed the female and her children. They did not require hospitalization.
According to police, following their arrival, the ex-boyfriend, who was armed with a gun, ran to the home's second floor. The regional SWAT team was called to the home and after about two hours of negotiation, the suspect surrendered to police.
The ex-boyfriend has been identified as 35-year-old Okema Sealey. He has been charged with felony domestic violence in connection with the situation Tuesday morning. Police say he also had two outstanding arrest warrants.
