NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Video of the moment has taken social media by storm.
When a 68-year-old woman asked people at a party to quiet down, a teen slammed her to the ground before throwing her in a swimming pool.
Our news partners at NBC Miami say the 16-year-old boy turned himself in, facing one count of battery.
The incident happened Saturday at the Players Place Townhomes in North Lauderdale, Fla.
One person in the group can be heard shouting, “Throw her in!”

Video shows party goers racing from the scene after the woman was tossed in the water.
A witness, however, tells NBC Miami the suspect did not intentionally slam the woman.
"He picked her up below the butt and that's when he slipped and fell," the girl said. "We started to scream when she fell cause we thought she had hurt something. Everyone started running after that cause we all got scared."
