ASHTABULA, Ohio — A teen driver is facing felony charges after leading Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on a pursuit through two area counties.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon when troopers from the OSHP's Ashtabula Post tried to pull over a dark gray Audi, driven by 19-year-old Elijah Schultz of Orwell. Officers from the Ashtabula Police Department had also tried to pull Schultz over, but eventually stopped their chase.

Both occupants were taken to area hospitals for "serious, but non-life threatening injuries."
Schultz was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. He is facing felony charges of fleeing and aggravated vehicular assault, in addition to reckless operation.
