CLEVELAND — Two people are dead after three were shot inside an abandoned house near Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant neighborhood Thursday evening.
Officers responded to what appeared to be an abandoned home in the 13700 block of Durkee Avenue around 5 p.m. They found three victims with gunshot wounds inside.
One victim, identified as a 16-year-old boy, was taken to University Hospitals, where he later died. A second unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he remains in an unknown condition.
Police say they believe two suspects were involved in the shooting, but had no additional information.
