Wadsworth councilman arrested on February burglary charges

WADSWORTH, Ohio — A Wadsworth city councilman was arrested Friday on burglary charges stemming from a February incident.

Councilman Lee Potts is charged with aggravated burglary and burglary from a Feb. 7 burglary that occurred in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

A woman identified as Alyssa Bierdon is also charged with aggravated burglary, burglary and menacing in the crime.

Police did not provide details of the burglary.

Potts and Bierdon were both taken to the Medina County Jail, and their bonds were issued at $50,000 each.
