CLEVELAND — A murder suspect wanted for a deadly shooting last year has been arrested.
Authorities say 19-year-old Miguel Gomez was arrested Thursday morning by members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Gomez was found in the 3800 block of East 71st Street in Cleveland’s Harvard neighborhood.
“Officers had to force entry into the home and were able to arrest Gomez without further incident,” authorities said in a press release.
Gomez was identified as a suspect for a murder that took place back on Dec. 7, 2019. Authorities say two people were shot early that morning in the 600 block of East 107th Street. One man died shortly after the shooting, while the other survived.
