The fourth suspect accused in the murder of a Bedford father and daughter in East Cleveland appeared in court this morning.
A judge ordered 24-year-old Demarcus Sheeley, whose charges include two counts of aggravated murder, held on $5 million bond. A preliminary hearing is set for this coming Monday at 9 a.m.
Sheeley was arrested last Friday in connection with the deaths of Paul Bradley and his 14-year-old daughter Paris back in October. Their bodies were found inside a burned out car in East Cleveland and police believe Paris was tortured for information before being shot to death while her father was burned alive.
While a motive is not yet fully clear, authorities say it may have involved a robbery. Police had previously arrested 26-year-old Quentin Palmer, 23-year-old Ronald Newberry and 21-year-old Kodii Gibson in connection to the murder.
If convicted, Sheeley could face the death penalty.
