41 Northeast Ohio high school students earn college degree through Tri-C College Credit plus program

A college degree before a high school diploma.

Through the Cuyahoga Community College's "College Credit Plus" program, 41 Northeast Ohio students walked the stage Thursday during the Spring commencement.

Through the program,established in 2015, students are able to earn college credit while fulfilling their high school graduation requirements.

The program is open to seven to 12th graders who have proven academic readiness.

Will the help of state funding, the program is relatively low cost for most families

The commencement took place at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center.
