BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Bowling Green State University is preparing for students to return this fall after the coronavirus abruptly ended campus life earlier this year.
According to their website, the University is planning to resume face-to-face learning on its campuses when the school year resumes in August.
However, Bowling Green stresses that life will be different. They will institute social distancing protocols and will monitor the health of all students.
Dining Halls will change the way they serve their food and seating arrangements for students will be 6-feet apart.
As for classrooms, facilities and residence halls, they will all be frequently sanitized and monitored.
"BGSU continues to work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ohio Department of Health and regional and local health care partners to comply with directives and guidelines to safeguard students, faculty, staff and visitors and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 on its campuses."
The University did say that if Ohio Governor Mike DeWine or health officials decided it was best to keep classes online, they would comply with any state restrictions.
