BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Brecksville-Broadview Heights school district celebrated their Class of 2020 of Saturday with a ceremony unlike any it had seen before.
The day of celebration began with a parade led by the Cleveland Metroparks Mounted Police Unit. It kicked off at Broadview Heights City Hall and went through both Brecksville and Broadview Heights, ending at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.
The district then held an in-car commencement ceremony at the parking lot between the school and the football stadium. At the ceremony, graduates along with families and friends watched a taped video of the students receiving their diplomas last month.
"The BBHCSD extends its gratitude to both Mayors for their support in helping the District to honor and celebrate the Class of 2020 in the best manner possible in an effort to BEE ONE COMMUNITY," the district said in a statement.
