CLEVELAND — Ready... Set... Read!
The Cleveland Reads campaign has set a goal to get more people reading across Northeast Ohio -- but they need your help.
“Clevelanders have already read 3.7 million minutes, and so now we are expanding that goal to 10 million minutes,” explains Erica Marks, senior director of outreach programming at the Cleveland Public Library.
That goal needs to be reached by the end of the year.
"Anything you read counts towards your goal," Marks explains.
You can register online at ClevelandReads.com or by visiting any branch of the Cleveland Public Library to start logging your reading minutes.
Don’t live in Cleveland? No problem!
“You can still sign up and participate," Marks says. "We welcome everybody to sign up and contribute to our goal. Let’s all read together.”
For those of you who prefer audiobooks, those also count toward the Cleveland Reads goal.
