UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — John Carroll University has again earned the #2 spot among the Best Regional Universities in the Midwest, according to the 2020 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings.
JCU has a strong liberal arts curriculum that provides students with a broad perspective and critical thinking skills to deal with life challenges.
John Carroll is also the top-ranked university in Ohio and the top-ranked Jesuit institution in the Midwest.
This marks the second consecutive year that John Carroll has been ranked second and the 32 consecutive year that JCU has been recognized in the top 10 of the Midwest rankings.
For regional rankings, U.S. News & World Report looks at factors such as graduation and retention rates, undergraduate academic reputation, social mobility, faculty resources, student selectivity, and average alumni giving rate, to name a few.
