KENT, Ohio — Kent State University has announced its new on-campus COVID-19 protocols ahead of student move-in day which is taking place on August 19.
The school has released a plan called "Flashes Safe Seven," which outlines the importance of preventative steps such as handwashing, wearing a face covering, and monitoring your own health and symptoms on a daily basis.
Kent State's two-part program includes a list of steps for students and staff to go through before leaving the house for campus, and a second list for what to do when you arrive.
The school is also encouraging students to ask questions if they are concerned or unsure about COVID-19 safety and to provide feedback as to how Kent State can better protect everyone on campus.
