CLEVELAND — The stakes are high as a new school year begins for many students who will have to depend on online classes to stay at grade level and not fall perilously behind.
What are their teachers most concerned about? How will they deal with the challenge of teaching students remotely? Will the digital divide continue to impact students living in poor neighborhoods?

3News reporter Tiffany Tarpley talked with three Cleveland teachers from three different grade levels – elementary, middle and high school.
Her guests are: Madainn Krall, STEM specialist at Breakthrough Schools in Cleveland; first-grade teacher Jillian Ahrens from Cleveland’s Memorial School; and Gary Jackson who teaches at Max Hayes High School in Cleveland.
