'Dream come true.' | Texas woman celebrates 90th birthday at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concerts in Paris and London with granddaughters

Nancy Strong, who still owns and runs a Dallas-based travel agency, wrote about her experience attending the concert on Instagram.

DALLAS — A North Texas woman is getting national attention after a video of her celebrating her 90th birthday by dancing and wearing sequins at a stop of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Paris made the “whole place shimmer.”

In a now-viral Instagram video, Strong is seen dancing the night away and swaying to Swift's music.

The viral video's caption read: "Instagram, help me find this family from Texas who went to Eras Tour Paris night 1." The comment section is flooded with comments admiring Strong's free spirit.

Nancy Strong wrote about her experience going to the concert with her two granddaughters, who she called Swifties, on Instagram, calling it “unforgettable.” Her account has since been featured in national publications, including People Magazine

In an interview with WFAA on Friday, Strong said her granddaughters scored high-demand tickets during a late-night online session.

"We made a plan, we've got to go see her in Paris!" Strong said in an interview with WFAA.

"It was kind of a dream come true to be involved with all these young people. I saw how she inspired them."

Strong and her granddaughters kept their Eras Tour adventure going by traveling to the London show on Friday night.

“The Taylor Swift concert was amazing. I had one of the best nights of my life - it was unforgettable! Everything from the visuals, her outfits, the set decorations, the lighting was all spectacular!” Strong wrote.

While it was her granddaughters who urged her to go on the trip, Nancy said she’s a longtime Swiftie too.

"I have been a Swiftie for over 10 years," Nancy told People. "She grabbed my attention in 2009 at the VMAs during the Kanye West scandal. She handled that situation with such grace and I have looked up to her ever since."

She says her favorite Taylor Swift song is “The Man.”

“Why? I am a woman who started a business in the 1970s in a male-oriented world, ‘wondering if I could get there quicker if I was a man,“ she said. “These lyrics really hit home for me.”

She also said she raised some of her children in Reading, Pennsylvania, where Swift grew up.

Nancy still owns and runs Strong Travel Agency in Dallas.

"I enjoy each day, and to have this opportunity to share it with youthful people, it really gives you a second lease on life. You say life is worth living, it’s worth getting up every day, meeting new people, it’s very exciting and rewarding. It’s good for the soul," Strong said.
